Catching Up

Hello Blogging World!

Happy November!!! Where did this year go to? I know it’s been a bit since I posted, but Life has been very busy and so the blog goes to the back burner. Thanks for not giving up on me. I dressed up as Cleopatra for Halloween and I will include a couple of pictures from Halloween with this post. I also will include pictures of the nieces and nephews in their cute costumes. I saw them all on Halloween and we had so much fun.

During the past month, I cleaned out our storage unit and condensed down into a unit about half the size and half the price. It was hard work but I am very proud of myself for doing it. I still need to get rid of a ton of stuff but that is the way life always is. To much stuff and not enough room to store it all. I subscribed to a de-clutter newsletter that gives advise and hints on how to get rid of the clutter in your life. It has been a big help. Now to get the house clean and organized and all will be well.

I went out to lunch at Outback Steakhouse a while back for a birthday celebration for a friend from high school. - It was fabulous food. - We have kept in touch through the years and it was good to see her again. Her nickname our senoir year in high school was Oed. - It's a long story - So I put a picture of us in for Madame Peep and BJ to see.

This Monday coming up is my and Big Grizz’s 13th Wedding Anniversary. Wow, it doesn’t seem like that long. Looking back on all that we have crammed into 13 years it seems like a lot longer though. Funny thing about time, a different perspective changes the way it feels.

Everything else seems to be going along ok. Big Grizz is very busy with school and I keep very busy with work and other things. Hello everyone!

Happy Day & 6 Unspectacular Quirks

Today is Big Grizz's birthday. He is amazing and the greatest thing to ever happen in my life. I couldn't imagine life without him. He is one of the most kind and caring people I know. Here is a picture of him reading stories with some of our nieces and nephews.


The other thing that makes today fun is that it is my brother SushiBoy & his wife Superwoman's anniversary. Congratulations Guys! What a great day.

Now the 6 Unspectacular Quirks

1. I have the most tremendous brown thumb. I can't seem to keep a potted plant alive for the life of me. I have even killed a cactus and they are supposed to be hard to kill. I seem to do ok with the lawn and a small garden but the rest is just beyond me. I doesn't help that it can freeze here well into the spring and early in the fall. We had snow last week, for goodness sake.

2. This is a quirk because of the last quirk. I love pots of flowers and pretty plants. Spring is my favorite season because all the flowers come out. They make everything so homey and beautiful. I enjoy Superwoman's flowers and yard a lot. I guess I'll just enjoy everyone else's flowers and keep working on it. (Here are some blossoms from a tree at work.)



3. I love to be organized but I seem to attract clutter.

4. I love puns. I laugh my head off at what most people would call groaners.

5. I love to get all dressed up in formal or fancy attire just for fun. It's fun to go out and turn heads because we look good. It makes me feel like a princess.

6. I would much rather do any chore, even disgusting ones, than dishes! I don't know why.
